So we have been doing quite well with out #eatlocalfood challenge.
I did not post all the food we ate, but here are a few pictures.
The meals we had:
*Homemade Gnocchi with tomato sauce that I canned last summer from locally grown tomatoes.
*Cauliflower soup and a rhubarb and apple crumble
*Homemade pizza dough swirls and roast veg
*Roast veg with yoghurt and oven wedges
* Hungarian style lecso from my pantry canned last summer from local ingredient and sausages
*locally made fish fingers and potato salad
*bread and cheese
It is not easy, because we would usually eat: sweet potatoes, rice, pasta, courgette, pepper. Some of these are not in season here at the moment or just dont usually grown here.
